Salt Lake County Healthy Lifestyles - Caregiver Talking Point Discussions
These 3 events are only open to Healthy Lifestyles participants from Salt Lake County Government. Thank you for your understanding.
Caregiver Talking Points are skill-building discussions that assist family and other non-professional caregivers manage the challenges of care. Healthy Lifestyles participants may sign up for one or all of these sessions.
Mondays at 1:00 PM
- Sept 9 – Arranging Care at Home. Explore options and resources for keeping those you care for at home. Learn about in home services, community programs and resources, and more. Bring your questions and concerns to the discussion.
- Sept 16 – Solving Concerns with Facilities. Short and long term placements are a normal part of providing care. What happens when things don't go smoothly? Who advocates for patient rights and assists those in facilities? Come find out.
- Sept 23 – Holding End of Life Discussions. The end of life starts today. Each of us and those we care for determine what the final years, days, and moments of our life might be. Learn about options, organization, documents, and the joy to be had in end of life celebrations. Come get inspired.
